Which parts of Dallas-Fort Worth do you cover?

We cover the whole metroplex and the growth ring around it: the four core counties of Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton, the fast-building suburbs of Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis and Johnson counties, and the communities along the Parker, Wise and Hunt county lines. Every service we offer is available at every address in that area.

Each county overview notes the housing, HOAs and recent storms that shape what we recommend.

Dallas County

Dallas County has the widest spread of housing we work on, from 1920s bungalows in East Dallas and Oak Cliff to 1960s brick ranches in Lake Highlands and 1990s two-story homes in Far North Dallas. Much of that housing is decades old, so worn decking, tired fascia and original aluminum windows turn up on many of our estimates. Inner-ring conservation districts set their own exterior rules, and Dallas requires a re-roof permit for a full replacement. Our guides for Dallas, Irving, Garland and Richardson cover local permits and storms, and the city directory below lists every other Dallas County community with its own page.

Tarrant County

Tarrant County takes some of the hardest weather in the metroplex, with roughly 126 severe-hail days logged since 2000 and straight-line gusts near 105 mph in Haltom City during the March 2025 outbreak. That wind history is why we pay extra attention to edge metal, ridge fastening and panel clips on Tarrant jobs. Fort Worth requires a building permit for a full roof replacement even when the material stays the same, and it typically clears in about three business days. Our Tarrant County guides start with Fort Worth, Arlington and Mansfield; the directory below has the rest.

Collin County

Collin County is HOA country: nearly every subdivision built since the mid-1990s has an architectural committee that reviews roof color, siding and even gutter style, so we build approval time into the schedule and prepare the submittal with samples and color charts. Some insurers in Plano and Frisco move roofs to actual-cash-value settlement at around 10 years of age, which pushes many owners to upgrade early. Guides for those two cities, McKinney, Allen and the rest of the county are in the directory below.

Denton County

Denton County is one of the fastest-growing counties in the country and sits on the northern edge of the DFW hail corridor. Housing runs from 1970s brick homes in Lewisville, many on their first or second shingle roof, to new builds along US 380, where master-planned communities come with active HOA review. Because the county stretches well north of the core, we plan visits there by area so you get a realistic date on the first call. Start with our guides for Denton, Flower Mound and Little Elm, or find the rest in the directory below.

Rockwall and Kaufman counties

East of Lake Ray Hubbard, Rockwall and Kaufman counties are full of 2000s and 2010s production homes whose builder-grade shingles, windows and gutters are wearing out; asphalt typically lasts 15 to 20 years in Texas heat. Most newer subdivisions around Rockwall, Fate and Forney are deed-restricted, so plan on HOA approval before changing a roof or siding color. The directory below shows which communities out east have their own guide.

Ellis and Johnson counties

South of the metroplex, historic county seats such as Waxahachie sit beside new subdivisions around Burleson and homes on acreage. Hail here can be extreme: on April 28, 2026, preliminary reports put hailstones up to 4.5 inches near Cresson and Godley. Barns and shops out here are often a good fit for exposed-fastener corrugated panels, and the directory below lists the Ellis and Johnson County cities with their own guide.

Parker, Wise and Hunt county lines

On the edges, we work in eastern Parker County toward Weatherford, southern Wise County around Eagle Mountain Lake and the Hunt County side of Royse City. Expect ranch homes on an acre or more, metal shops and barns, and few HOAs. Trips out here are longer, so we group visits by area and confirm coverage for addresses near the outer edge on the first call; the directory below shows which towns have a guide.

Can you install everything at my address?

Yes. Every service is available in every county we cover, and one crew can sequence roof, gutters, soffit and siding in the right order.

Metal roofing

Standing seam metal roofing in Plano, Frisco and Southlake, and everywhere else we work, using Class 4 (UL 2218) impact-rated panels over high-temperature underlayment.

Roof repair

Hail, wind and leak repair from Fort Worth to Rockwall, with dated photos and measurements you can hand straight to your adjuster.

Siding

Siding for homes in Denton, Arlington and McKinney, including seamless steel formed to full wall length on site, with no overlap joints to fade or leak.

Windows

Replacement windows in Flower Mound, Keller and Garland, specified to the ENERGY STAR South-Central targets: U-factor 0.28 or lower and SHGC 0.23 or lower.

Gutters

Gutters for McKinney, Mansfield and every live-oak street in between, with 6-inch seamless runs and 3×4 downspouts sized for North Texas downpours.

Soffit and fascia

Vented soffit and wrapped fascia that help the attic shed summer heat and keep wasps, squirrels and rot out of the eaves.

What changes from one DFW city to the next?

Codes are similar across the metroplex, but permits, HOA rules, storm exposure and soil differ enough that the plan should change by ZIP code. These are the four local factors we check before writing your estimate.

Who regulates roofers if Texas has no state license?

Cities do. Texas issues no state roofing license and the RCAT licensing program is voluntary, so city registration and permits are the real paper trail. Dallas requires roofers to register and carry at least $300,000 in general liability coverage, and Fort Worth requires annual contractor registration. We pull the permit wherever one is required, which puts an inspection on record for your home.

Can my HOA block an impact-resistant roof?

Usually not outright. Texas Property Code §202.011 bars an HOA from prohibiting wind- and hail-resistant or energy-efficient shingles that resemble, equal or exceed, and match the look of the roofs around them. Metal shingles and stone-coated steel fit that language cleanly; standing seam is a grayer area. Either way, we build the submittal with samples, color charts and spec sheets.

How much do hail and heat vary across the metroplex?

Less than people hope. Texas has led the nation in major hail events for 11 straight years, Dallas averages roughly 10 to 20 hail events a year, and DFW sees about 20 days a year at or above 100 degrees. That is why our default metal spec is the same everywhere: 24-gauge steel, a fade-resistant Kynar 500 (PVDF) finish, and underlayment rated to 240 degrees or more.

Why does the soil matter for gutters and fascia?

Much of DFW sits on expansive clay that swells when wet and shrinks in drought, and the movement reaches the roofline. Fascia boards twist and gutter runs lose their slope. With so much of the metro’s housing built in the 1980s and 1990s, every estimate on an older house includes a fascia and gutter-slope check.

How does scheduling work across the metroplex?

One call or one form starts everything. We call back within one business day, book your estimate when it suits you, and plan install days by area so crews spend their time on your house, not the highway.

  1. Request. Call (469) 569-3956 or use the form below. Your ZIP code and project type are all we need to start.
  2. Estimate visit. A specialist measures, photographs and inspects, then gives you a written, itemized price and answers HOA and insurance questions on the spot.
  3. Permits and approvals. We file the city permit and HOA submittal; a Fort Worth roof permit typically clears in about three business days.
  4. Installation. Gutters and metal panels are roll-formed on site to exact lengths, and the crew cleans up daily, including a magnetic sweep for nails.
  5. Walkthrough and warranty. You inspect the finished work with your project manager, and we register your warranty.

Spring and early summer are busiest. After a big hailstorm, active leaks get first priority, so mention any water coming in. Planned upgrades booked in fall or winter get more flexible dates.

Service area questions

Do you serve Plano and Frisco?

Yes. Plano and Frisco are two of the busiest parts of our Collin County service area, along with McKinney, Allen, Prosper and Celina. Most neighborhoods there have HOAs, so we prepare the architectural submittal with samples and color charts before work begins.

Do you work in Tarrant County?

Yes. We serve Fort Worth and the rest of Tarrant County, from Arlington and Mansfield to Keller, and our city directory lists every Tarrant County city with its own guide. In Fort Worth we pull the building permit that a full roof replacement requires.

Do you serve Denton County?

Yes. We work throughout Denton County, including Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound and Little Elm, plus the parts of neighboring cities that cross the county line. Every Denton County city with its own guide is listed in our city directory.

How far outside DFW do you travel?

Our 11-county area reaches about 55 driving miles from downtown Dallas or downtown Fort Worth. Just past that line? Call with your address and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve you well.

How soon can you come out after a hailstorm?

After a widespread storm, demand jumps everywhere at once. Active leaks come first; other inspections are booked in order, with a realistic date on the first call. If a crew you didn’t call pushes you to sign that day, the Texas Attorney General advises getting several estimates and never paying in full up front.

Do you pull permits in every city?

We pull a permit wherever the city requires one. Rules vary: Dallas requires contractor registration and a re-roof permit for a full replacement, and Fort Worth requires a building permit even for a same-material replacement. We confirm your city’s rules during the estimate.
